I had a bunch of droids until I switched to an Iphone. Hands down the Iphone is the best. My battery last all day without any issue and I'm on my phone a lot. The Operating System is smooth I never have any hick-ups. I am running IOS 7 beta 5 and it brings a bunch f new features to the Iphone world. I hate it when people say you can do so much more on a droid. At first yeah you could but the people that say that haven't looked into the iphone deeper. There is a ring tone app to make your own and it works fine. I personally don't care about a ringtone. Every App I download works and does what I need it to do. Sometimes it is worth paying $.99 for an app that is useful and does what I want. There is no bloatware on my Iphone. And as the Iphone software changes you do not have to worry about compatibility issues (unless your phone is 4+ years old). Hang in for another month when they introduce the 5S and the 5C. The Iphone market is getting bigger. Ive been able to change the channels with my Iphone for 2 years now. Also I use my Iphone to control my radio in my house Pick any song and control the volume what songs are next from anywhere in my house.

There is a possibility that you could be a retard. (dont get butthurt, I'm only kidding) I have seen and know of old people that have Iphones and have no problem operating them at all. If anything, my 5 is one of the most user friendly phones I have played around with. I see no reason why the OP would have any problem with an iPhone.

iPhones are good and so is android. Its about personal preference. I prefer my Galaxy S4 over an iPhone 5. That said, I dont think iPhones are worthless. I would say go to walmart and try one out, if you dont like it bring it back within 14 days and switch. Walmart allows a 14 day "trial" period, not sure if other stores do this as well.

I know of some people with the Nokia windows phones...they don't seem to hate them. I think the choice of colors you can get is pretty cool for them, especially for someone who doesn't use a case.

If you go droid- avoid the 'large screen, low price' trap. All you are getting is a large screen on a 3 generation old phone. Shop the processor and memory specs.
Google didnt copy iPhone. The G1 on T Mobile came out 2 or 3 years before the iPhone. The rest of your statement is true.
