Default Short circuit

I am 3 days away from vacation. I hooked up the camper and the brake controller reads a short. When I hit the brake it reads the voltage numbers but it bounces around. Any suggestions on how to find the short? I'm going to replace the bolts for the ground wires tonight.

I would imagine you have a bad brake magnet.. Go to your drums and clip the wires on the brakes if it goes away the magnet is shorted and replace them.. if not hook em back up and start following wires looking for cuts. replacing the bolts wont solver your problem your short means you have a ground where you dont need it. replacing the bolts would just ensure you have a ground..
