I worked at uncle eds just after high school. They bought an engine every month or so. The ticket average was 64.09. That's a lot of pcv valves and oil system cleaners.

Those are cake. It's the Grand Cherokee's and Commanders that suck because of their shields, especially when the bolts break. Or the mess from the filter when it all doesn't end up in the shute. I fucking hate changing oil

Yeah because changing oil on your own personal truck on your own time is the same thing as being at work and having a bunch of "waiters" that you're responsible for.

I hated changing the oil on my 71 Charger. 318, the damn filter was blocked by the exhaust, no way to get it out without dumping the filter out all over the pipe.

so many are not like you these days. I see zero excuses to screw up an oil change unless the person is drunk or high on the job.

This happened to a buddy of mine. He had Szott Chrysler in highland do an oil change on his Ranger. Next day, he walked outside to start his truck before school, and his foot slipped off the clutch. Puddle of oil under the truck. I check it out for him, and sure enough, oil filter was loose as fawk.

I think the oil and lube tech bible says finger tight, then giver a quarter turn and she's good.

If you're getting paid $9 an hour to change oil; you better work your ass off to keep that job.

You really think 99% of the people at any service shop gives a fcuk about any vehicle after it leaves the shop?
