Default Dana 18 Leak

I have a Dana 18/T90 combo I purchased and it is leaking like crazy out the back. Roughly about 1/2 a cup of fluid per day. When I picked it up the previous owner had put on a different nut on the rear yoke that was on the front yoke. The front yoke had the original castle nut. The front nut will not fit on the back and vice versa. The rear nut screws on fine and seems to tighten up fine. However the rear is leaking like crazy.

My question is, could the rear leak be associated with that nut OR is it more likely just bad seals?

My last one did not. I guess I should have never sold it. I can deal with a little leak. I cant deal with a puddle every day.
