Default My new to me 82 CJ

Well don't know much about it because I just got it. What I do know is it has a 304 with a 3 speed manual trans. It seems to be very low geared hits about 50-55mph tops. Tires are 37" pit bull something's. here are some pics.

Mods- 4-6 inch spring lift (under axle) and 3 inch body lift, Yukon axels, front locker and warn lockouts, boss radio with CD player, Dick Cepek wheels, 37 inch pit bull rockers,

If you get some matching paint on that thing it would be sweet. Cool rig.

Yeah I plan to paint it this summer. I'm leaning towards white but silver is my color of choice most often. Need to paint my bike too and that will be silver.

First I need to figure out what's already done. Pretty sure it's been re geared and possibly locked but ill pull the covers and have a look soon. The wife decided tonight it will be painted white. I also need to put a radio in it. Hope to be wheeling it soon.

Changed my mind on the flat black. I'm not much at body work but for and off roader it is looking pretty good so far.

Had the weekend free so I finally got it all one color. I also put the soft top/doors back on it. Maybe I'll actually plan a trip to the mounds soon.

Dark pics. I liked the white but it showed to many flaws that the flat black hide pretty well. I think it looks tough like this. Anyone need a hard top and doors? Just about ready to wheel I think all I need to do is fix the choke and grease it up.
