Right
It just seems like a lot of work for slight gain
More specifically in the front
How wide are you going and what are you doing for bolt pattern?

Front will be EB width, keeping the 5x5.5 pattern.

I would have had to buy axles/gears/locker/discs for the rear either way so really other than removing and installing perches....not much more work.

Having run both an 8.8 and 9" in stock form, in the same type rig and same tire size/power. I never broke the 8.8, but I broke the 9".

That won't be too bad then
I agree the rear isn't a big deal
And since you are going eb width in the front it makes it cheaper
It will be definitely be unique and I like unique
This things gonna be sweet

Depending on how you plan to mount your seats you might want to cut the drivers floor out and lower it like the passenger side.

It depends on the height of your roll cage but I would like a few more inches of clearance above my head in mine.

I built my cage so a top could be used and the seats are mounted to the cage.

I can post pics if you want.

I have looked at your build many times Very nice btw!

I am gonna try and get the seats lower, the my cage was also built to fit under a stock hard top so room is at a premium.

I bought a hard top last summer and it does not fit. It almost fits but I need to trim the inside support a little at the b-pillar. I wish I had a hard top at the time to make sure it fit, oh well just a little trim needed.

Look forward to see your progress.

Decided to pull the bars out above the driver and passenger heads.....just didn't like them being so close.....JQ had concerns about about having them there but I was hoping to make them work. Added some grab handles and shot it with some primer for now.

Gonna pull the tub and media blast it before any more body work is done....just about ready to come off. Gonna build some bracing to keep it from moving around before we pull it.

Can you kick them up and over like I did mine? They aren't above my head at all or I would have hit them multiple times

Frame is solid, body needs some floor work but other than that seems to be in good condition.

Been working on the frame, the only bad spot I have found is where a PO cobbled on the rear bumper...otherwise it is really solid. Cut off all the extra brackets, rear spring hangers, coil buckets and shock mounts.

The plan is to move the front forward 2" and the rear maybe 2-4". I have the coil buckets moved and back on.
