Default Are we in for a bad winter??????

This is only Aug 3rd and I am seeing some Maple trees starting to change color and a lot of the birds are disappearing already. Is it a sign of a bad winter?

The leaves change because of less sunlight not because of temp changes or because a "bad" winter is coming. It's called photosynthesis, it is how plants create energy to live and grow.

In conclusion, if you are seeing any leaves that are dying it is no indication of what this winter will be like.

I think it could be a sign of a beautiful fall.

I've seen the future. Many of you will be trapped and die of starvation and hypothermia.

Even I will have a rough time with it trying not to choke on my whiskey while laughing hysterically.

Yes multiple things are different this year, that are indicating to the farmers that we are in for an early wet winter.

Need to get my wood pile arranged for winter time.

Going to need it.

I want a shit load of snow on the ground. I'd like to actually snowshoe without having to go way north.

Is your wife wearing flannel pjs to bed? That would be the real sign of an early winter
