Default Yesterday was my first bike ride in years.

I rode 14.48 miles on my mountain bike. Rode from my house by Tie Dyed's house, then by his parents house, pit spot at Dunkin Donuts, return via grand river to m59 and home.

Found out I need a water bottle and a water bottle attachement.
The UAG cover on my s3 doubles as a wallet.
I need to center my rear wheel. I think I wore out the entire rear brake because it is so badly out of center.

I'm using Endomondo app to monitor my ride. It seems to work well, but I can't see some stats like top speed. Is anyone using anything else?

It would be convenient to have a mirror (maybe on a helmet) to check for cars behind.

Can you ride your bike with no handlebars?

I did this last year. This year it's not been out of pole barn.
Now with my masses I don't think it wil this year.
I think you need a mirror. And a water bottle. I bought my bike used from LBS and part of the deal was water bottle and holder. I have a mirror that fits in end of handle bar.

I saw a few people with such mirrors yesterday on my way home from theraphy. I wonder if a handle bar mirror or helmet mirror is better. I feel like with a helmet mirror I could have a better field of view, but that's just speculation since I have not used either, so I'm looking for some input.

I have ridden less this year than I have in a long time, need to get out more. I have been seeing some stupid fools riding the wrong way on Telegraph & Woodward the last few weeks. I don't know if I would ride on those roads at all definatly not against rush hour traffic.

I rode yesterday also, did bout 12 miles. Felt great. Between my kayak and bike I still do not get enough exercise.

I use a Garmin GPSWatch with a heart rate monitor. Works quite well.

I have been using Strava for my bike rides. No complaints at all.

I've never had a helmet mounted mirror so I wouldn't know how well they work. The one I have for my handle bars sucks. I just look back.

I haven't rode my bike nearly as much as I would have liked this summer. I trained really hard for a 50 mile ride and then after that (I did it in 2 hours 45 min) I kind of stopped riding on the road.

Why do you need a mirror? Won't God watch out for you?

Helmet mirrors are the way to go, just don't go with a cheap one that falls off after 5 rides.

I did a bit over 15 miles today. stopped by Howell Cycle and remembered how horrible the service is out there. Besides at $25 to center a wheel and 3-4 day wait, I'll look for something else.

I do not understand why some ride the wrong way.
