Not recommending it but around here you just drive around and drop them off. Some make it of the road others become road hazards.

Hack at them with a hot chisel until they look like a 4 tooth dog chewed on them, then sell the as "custom cut" mud tires. There is a guy on here that does that anyone remember his name?

i've cut hundreds of sidewalls out and thrown them in the trash.

landfills won't take them with sidewalls because they don't fill with dirt all the way and will work their way to the top of the trash. cut the sidewalls out and they can be thrown in the dumpster.
We use a sawzall to cut around the tire and then across the tread so no piece is bigger than a foot long.

It is a pain, it takes a while, but they will take them all day long after this.

I work for a trash company and all you have to do is cut them in 3 pieces. Cut both side walls from the tread so you have 2 rings and the tread and put them in your trash can. You can do it to any size tire as long as it fits in the can. If it doesn't fit then you will need to cut it smaller. Cutting them up so there is no piece that's bigger then a foot long is way over kill but if you feel the need go right ahead and cut a way.

We have some company's that dump tires cut in to 3 pieces by the truck load a couple times a week.
