ive been told the kj is a better fit and no mods need to be done to install kinda why i was looking for it but its looking like i am gonna have to use zj parts

You can buy compleat rear brake assembly's for 113.00 a side for your local dealer

btw u r way off the backing plates alone from the dealer are 341 for both sides with full e brake kit and im about to have almost 800 in this swap blah

well sick of these drums and its 760 bucks for all brand new parts with ebrake cables ive looked for used axles in the junk yard and cheapiest ive found is 600 and i still would have to buy pads rotors and calipers soft lines and ebrake cables

fiqured i would just build my 8.25 up after brake swap im not ever gonna run over a 33 inch tires so 8.25 should be fine

That's a lot of money just for disc brakes...
I put zj brakes on my Dana 35 for about $150
Sandblasted brackets bought new pads and used the junkyard calipers

But from what I've heard the zj parts can be used the holes just haves to be slotted slightly
And the zj parts are fairly common
