Default Help with Body Lift on a '77 K10

I just wanted to post up my "To Do" list of things for my body lift on my '77 K10 and get some feedback about any potential issue that may arise from those of you who have done it.

So far I've got a small list of things that I'll have to check once the body lift is on:

Length of Battery Cables
Length of Radiator Hoses
Rivet replacement for steering shaft extension
Throttle Cable Adjustment
Lengthen brake lines (slight bend at MC)

Am I missing anything?

I know the core support mounts are actual nuts and bolts, but the other four cab mounts don't appear to be anything but bolts from underneath. My concern is that they are rusted and break off, then how am I going to install the new ones if this happens?

I don't want to have the truck grounded right when I get it back on the road because of rusty bolts. I've heard that they are a pain to remove, but are there any experienced "body lifters" out there to give me some tips?

I can take pictures of the truck if necessary.

Thanks.

Default

trim fan shroud
ground straps

if bolts break then use a sawzall, if your body mounts are shot get some large washers with the hole size of your bolt and give it a few decent tacks if its hard to get at, ideallly itd be best to replace the rotten stuff while your there.
