I am pretty sure we could find some in the jeep and share it again this year too.
That was only funny because of how it turned out.

Make sure you get a second opinion and a I'll PM you a really good doctor. My ophthalmologist hated him on a personal level but couldn't deny he was the best in the area.

I've got 70-80% of my gear packed, starting to feel a bit relieved.

Tuna kits are great on the trail. Along with Oreos, Twizzlers, trail mix, M&M's & chocolate bars.

The camper and trailer are home. I have to clean the camper but I have planned our meals and snacks. We will be having mac and cheese one day. Oh and I am planning to make some sweet cheese stuffed blintz in the oven for breakfast one morning. I have also packed most of our clothes and stuff for the trip. I forgot how much I love having the camper.

This will be the first time we tow with the camper on the truck. I am a bit concerned. It seemed fine with the empty trailer. Lets just see how it is with 5000lbs of jeep on it.

OK, my plans are pretty (well sorta) almost set in stone.

My Friday run will incorporate a known run that is VERY scenic. After about 15-20 miles, I want to look for a trail that is on the map that looks like it goes through some very interesting terrain. This is the part of Canada that makes it fun. We are going "exploring". It may be very exciting, it may be boring or we may not find the trail and we simply have to turn around. If we have to turn around, we will go back a different way.

Saturday will be a similar run but not along the river. However, if I can find the trail I am looking for (again, on the map) the return trip could be awesome.

That's my plan and I'm sticking to it............ maybe.

Plan shift for me, I'll be up Thursday evening instead of Wednesday.

I need to register the jeep and add insurance. Haven't done any high speed testing yet....

Well the doc appointment went OK. I still have crappy vision in my left eye but no surgery for a couple of weeks ;)

Suzuki is now licensed, insured, running/driving. The next two days will be a wrench fest to buckle up the little things, CB, seatbelts in rear, top, and maybe a winch. Otherwise I'm pretty good to go!

Well we're almost ready, fill the water tanks and load the truck and we're good to go. Plus a little grocery shopping. Probably do that on the way up somewhere.

My runs are pretty set too. Friday will be a run down a re-explored road I ran 20 years ago. The pre-run group re-ran it this spring and proved to be a great trail with numerous creek crossings, a little playground of rocks and a more serious rock trail that has not yet been run. There's a bypass for that so those that want to watch can do so. The trail I suspect is about 0.5 miles long with an unknown number of challenges.
One we conquer that we have a trail called No-Bridge. As the name implies there isn't a bridge in sight, they were all removed with the logging stopped. between 8 and 12 missing bridges and some pretty steep grades down to the creek and back up out. Once we finish that time permitting we have a simply way out to Hwy 17 but that make for 30 miles road trip home. I'd rather explore and find the connector back over to Carp River which will cut the road miles in half and give us a few more options for other obstacles.

Saturday is much simpler with a trip to the Mine and Lions back if we can't fit that one in on Friday due to time.

With the rain they have had I wonder if some of those creek crossings will be raging river crossings.

So what is the final tally on rig count?

I think 3 or 4. It's going to be a lame run.
