Just in case it gets flagged:

This is your cousin, KB. Our moms were close when we were younger, before all the , and the shit hit the fan. You were my favorite cousin, in part because you were so close in age to me. We always got along, and some of my best, earliest memories are of us together, swimming in the pool, or riding bikes up to the corner store to buy some candy, or telling ghost stories with the lights off in the basement of the house on Evangeline (: I always had so much fun with you, you were my best friend in some ways.

Of course, we both know why things changed. You remember as well as I when I was 12 and you were 13, and I walked into my basement to find you touching yourself while you smelled that dirty pair of my panties. You can't blame me for running away, for being scared. I was young and just coming into my own womanhood, and to come down and unexpectedly find my dearest cousin with his pants down, in a throe of passion, ready to pump his seed into our dirty laundry basket, nose and mind wickedly full of something that we were taught was dark and dirty and to be ignored and condemned. I was acting on instinct. I never meant to hurt you.

But I did. You were embarrassed and afraid to be near me, to talk to me, to be yourself again in the weeks that followed. You avoided me. And before long, the that tore our family apart began to blossom, and my mom and Aunt Lisa wouldn't let us even see each other anymore. And even now, 10 years later, I don't know where the two of you have moved to.

But I haven't forgotten you. And I certainly haven't forgotten that day. Because when I ran, I realized over the coming years, that I ran from something unexpected and scary - but it was that way because it was the most exciting, wonderful thing - in a dark, dangerous, and altogether beautiful way. Sometimes, when I'm alone at night, I rethink that scene, and wish that I had not away, but instead drawn closer, to share what would have been my first kiss with you. To have it have been with someone else was such a lie.

If you ever read this, I just want you to know that I want to see you again. I want to see what could be between us. I want to be close with you and laugh with you and walk with you, just as we did as children. And now that we're adults, I want that closeness to envelop us, and bring our bodies together. We can finally share that first kiss that was meant to be but thrown aside. And I want you to know that there are deeper, more beautiful, more wonderful and personal places for you to spill that hot, milky seed of yours, than a pile of my mother's clothes.

Let's have a second chance to share again that spark between us. I promise, I promise, I promise, I won't run away this time. I'll only clutch your body more closely to mine in the night.

I miss you, Andy.
