if you buy from Trailrail, PM me first, or have him get ahold of me.

My trans was not shitty, and speaking of shitty, did you take the door off with the cat hole in it? I need to replace that door sooner than later

I hated and I mean hated the my touch radio, what a piece of shit. I hated it so much I order a new fusion, titanium edition of course. And wouldn't y have it, the fucking my touch radio came in that one too...FML, but I will say the radio in the fusion has only crapped out once compared to three dozen times in the focus. Long story short, I enjoyed my focus, I would recommend a focus to anyone looking for a good car that is not only stylish, but practical. I really like my new fusion with the 2.0 ecoboost, aside from the shitty gas mileage. And I have bought many cars from trailrail and so have my friends...never one complaint about him
titanium=the suck, i hated i mean hated the transmission in these cars it handles good but the trans and the radio make it suck. just glad the guy whos baby was sync is now gone from the company and on his way out he gave us the "my bad" speach.

new corvette is rated at 30mpg highway. your single, you don't need the room of a focus. go big or go home.

Put the trans in sport mode when city driving or in traffic jams.

No, doors were put on the back burner due to winning a trip to canada.

Your trans was shitty, you just weren't a good enough driver to notice

I probably wouldn't hate on the focus as much if Ford's advertising and marketing campaigns didn't talk it up beyond what it really is.

If the choice was between an economy car and an economy car I would say slight advantage focus due to better mpg's.

If the choice was between an ST and a WRX I would say there is zero comparison. The WRX in my opinion wins everytime.

Nice looking car by the way....very nice. I have always loved the WRX platforms. I miss my old RS Coupe.

my other suggestion, if you are really considering the ST with Ricaro seats, then your price range is already pretty high. You should also consider the Fusion Titanium with the 2.0 ecoboost, AWD, 6 speed with paddle shifters and NO other options. It should sticker around 32K... I think there is a rebate on it right now and get ahold of Trailrail, have him get ahold of me and I bet the price will be closer to 30K. Thats a hell of a car for 30K.

It seems some do not like the Focus ST, I know someone that does. I would steer clear of the Mazdaspeed 3, Civic Si, and Fiat Abarth, I have heard mixed reaction from those who own. I have also heard great recommendations for the GTI and I really enjoy my WRX. I ended up with the car primarily because of my size (tall and kinda fat), but the car has become even better the longer I have had it. Plus, when you put an exhaust on the Boxer engine, the sound (rumble) is pretty legit.

Not the best pic, but you get the idea.
X2 I love my sti and loved my wrx that I had prior

This.

Also, if you want to spend a little more, the Evo X is a pretty sweet option, but that's a little pricey. The WRX takes the cake over the Focus ST easily in that comparison though. That said, it's your money and your car. If you like the Focus ST, go for it. The people complaining about the lack of "zip" and crappy transmissions in their car don't apply, since you would be getting a more powerful car with a manual transmission. The Focus has been heralded since they first went into production for having fun driving characteristics, and the new ST is the best Focus ever.

Correction : The ST is the best Focus to ever be released in the States. Europe has the RS, which is pretty darn sweet, other than still being fwd.

Didn't realize there was still a Cosworth. I thought those were just versions of 80's era Escorts, released here as the Merkur XR4Ti. I'll have to check that out.

Dont know how I missed this...sorry, if I can help out let me know.

VR, Some transmissions had issues bones can probably explain more but there are some programing updates that might help you out. let me know if theres anything I can do to help address any of the problems you are having.

Chad, Ford talks the car up because it was the #1 selling car in the world in 2012. I think thats a good reason to bost your product! granted I agree with the concerns and issues that they have had with the transmission and the sync. Good thing is its almost all programing issues and continue's to be worked on and updated, even to previous models.

The ST does have the 2.0 ecoboost and its a man trans so you dont have to worry about any of the trans issues. its a pretty cool car. Depending on your time frame, word is there will be a AWD Focus RS in the not to distant future. That will be Awesome!
