Russel Brand vs. WBC

I found this very intriguing, frustrating, and sad all mixed into one.

One side misses God's grace and the other abuses it.

It's for humor, not evangelical prosperity. Let it go.

Humor aside, he pointed out some major flaws in their logic and they just pushed on with "We're not making this stuff up" like any politician. He obviously has to make it funny for his audience, and I don't necessarily agree with all he said, but I was surprised by how smart his approach was, and I think the WBC guys were too. I have never watched his show so I'm basing my expectations on the characters he has played(not fair, but it's all I have to go on). It would be interesting to see him interview them in a more serious/neutral setting.

Nothing to let go of over here. I thought it was very entertaining. I also found it interesting that, to me, at times, both sides hit the nail on the head and then completely missed the mark at other times.

I like Russel Brand, From the interviews I've seen, he's quite an intelligent person. I even think some of his Comedy is pretty hilarious too. The not-so-raunchy stuff though.

And to be honest, that's the most I've ever heard someone from WBC explain what they believe in public. Most of the times it's just yelling and pointing at signs. They didn't, by any means, justify what they do; but I can understand why they think what they do.
