Default High school graduation gifts

With graduation party time coming I was wondering what people give for gifts. I have been giving $50. for non family members and $100. for family. Is this in the normal range?

That is about right. I would get $20-$50 from non family and $100-$200 from family.

My wife and I give $20 usually and some sort of small gift (generally something they can use at college or whatever their next stage is). I don't think we've ever spent more than $40 total for any one person. Maybe we're just cheap.
