Default Black Explorer on 12 Mile

Black lifted explorer with front skid plate, driving down 12 mile between Farmington and Drake. It was around 4:35. I was in the lifted blue Cherokee with a roof rack in the center turn lane.

I didn't get out and ask, traffic would have frowned on that. Come to think of it, it does look like his avatar. It looked really good.

Ya traffic definitely would have frowned upon that. So much better over here than on 75 though.
Thanks for the compliment, a lot of work has gone into that rig. Many thanks to Jay and Aaron for all their help.

Yeah I was pulling into my sub divison. I never read/payed attention to the fact you live in Farmington Hills and have never seen your explorer. What kind of lift are you running under it? Yeah it really looks great!

Well hello neighbor! Surprised I haven't seen you more, been out here for almost 4 years now. Living at Grand River and Halsted now. I'm on 12 Mile all the time.
I've got about 5.5" of lift, torsion twist and shackles along with a 3" body lift. Simple, cheap, and effective.
What are you running on yours? Looked like 6ish and 35s? Definitely looked big.

Holy crap. I've been here for 10 years and I think I need to pay better attention when driving. I've got close to 6 inches of lift and yup 35s. And thanks! :) I'll pay better attention while driving and I'll keep an eye out for you.

I'll start paying more attention as well. Don't see to many lifted rigs out this way, you'd think you'd notice every one but the traffic can be a bit distracting. Can't hold up traffic gawking..

That sounds great to me, I'm in. I've talked to kerryann in the past about doing one as well. I think we could get a decent turnout.

Lets start planning. Assuming it'd go in meets and greets section?

I always get a kick out of it. I can't tell you how many times I've been out and people come ask what kind of jeep it is. I tell them it's a ford jeep, blows their minds.
Thanks! The big 28 this year, lots of excitement.
