I need some one to rebuild a sway a way 2.0 with 12in travel. an not sure what it cost to do?

They really aren't that complicated once you get into them (at least on the mountain bike side of things). I can't imagine that a fox shock for a jeep is much different, if anything the parts are bigger and less fragile.....

is there a way to tell the shaft diameter? looks like they have a .625 an a .875.

.625 to .875, that's a 1/8th inch difference, get out a scale or ruler and measure it.
