Default 5.7 vortec to sm465

hi i have a 5.7 vortec in my 97 z71 1500 and would like to mate a sm465 to it which clutch and flywheel should i use for this setup

you can use a clutch and flywheel from a 97 1500. they were offered with a manual trans in that year with a 350 engine.

yeah but the throw out bearing is different from the older fork style i have on the sm465

If u get a clutch kit and flywheel for a older chevy truck that came with the 465 it should work out just fine

isnt the 97 vortec engine a different balance then the older chevys

thanks for the part numbers and info, looks like a flywheel for a 87 or newer chevy and an older clutch kit will bolt up correctly i hope. i got more replies on this forum then i did pirate 4x4 thanks guys
