Motors are electric.

99.9% of all vehicles are powered by an internal combustion engine.

Send a message via Yahoo to bdd1469
If you mean a engine it depends on a lot of different things. Is it a short block or a long block, do they have all the parts, etc.
I would think it would pay 12-20 hrs if I was guessing which is probobly close to $1200-$2000 for just labor. This is 12-20 hrs of actually working on the car, not how long they may need it for.

1 day to 2 months depending on parts, mechanic schedule, if they are paying for a rental.

Two weeks of wrench time would be long. Two weeks from dropping it off isn't out of line. Delivery times on parts figured in and working around previously scheduled repairs that seems about right to me.

Depends on the work load at the shop, some shops put cash jobs first because they make/pay more money. Warranty work may get pushed to the back burner. When people stand in your doorway with a fist full of hundreds, most shops help them first.

2 weeks is spot on. The tech could run into unforeseen issues and need parts. When ever we used to do engine work, we'd always under promise and try to over deliver. Just to be fair to the customer

Hmm, no. If we are going to play that game correcting people about the specific definition of words, then look up the word motor in any major dictionary and you'll see that an internal combustion engine is specifically listed.

This would seem to be bolstered by the fact that we have companies like Ford Motor Company, Honda Motor Company, etc, and words like Motorsport, Motorcycle, Motor oil, etc.
