The F350 one I got has 4.30 gears, and at the time, he had a heavier F450 one there, but it was a cab & chassis model. It's worth a shot, though.

The F450 brakes were MUCH bigger, and it had a ribbed aluminum diff cover, as well (minor detail).

I think the older ones were a different wheel bolt spacing. I have half of a later one if he just needs parts.
I have a good drivers side tube, spindle, bearing, hub, shaft, brakes, etc.

Ya guess his is only 8 lug which I was suprised at. He just picked one up in missouri or some shit.

Starting to see why he had such a hard time finding the right one. My dads 2000 450 is 10 lug. They must have kept changing those rear ends. His was completely shot, hit a pothile with 2.5tons of salt and snapped a shaft. He had his brakes done that day so when it kept locking up he thought it was a brake issue and scrambled to finish his route. The shaft chewed the shit out of the housing and everything was basically wiped out

yep probably, didn,t read all the comments, i think i will go jump out the window...by the way i have a brand new one for a 99 f450 and if the guy that said he wants it for the last 3+ months doesn,t pick it tonight, it will be back on the market..it is 4.88 now but i can regear it to 4.30 ratio..have plenty of those gears......
