Default tj occasional mis-fire

I have a 2000 tj 4.0 5-speed.
It will occasionally have a mis or two usually in 3rd gear only under acceleration.
If I stomp on it, it runs fine. I have no codes or no pending codes and it does not do it all the time.

I put e3 plugs in it two years ago and im thinking those are most likely the issue.

Any suggestions?

Pull the e3s and put in champion coppers. Start there, check the condition of the plug boots also.
