Lightbulb "Stub" nose Tj?

I have a 4 cyl Tj and wondering if anyone ever shortened the front end like an early cj5? Plenty of room between the engine and radiator and would give more visibility and better approach angle. Hood would take work and fenders I don't care too much having.

Thoughts?

i think it might look cool actually, i really dont see any big issues since there is 8 feet from the fan to the radiator
