Easy, Nissan pays my bills

Except, I totally agree with you. I am not a huge fan of Nissan styling.

But, I really like the looks of this jeep.

Yeah, we do a bunch of Nissans, too..

One of our guys from Guadalajara was here, and was thinking about getting a Nissan Rogue.. he tried to get it to climb some large curbs in our parking lot, and it failed miserably. So he tried the Cherokee and it had no problem climbing the parking curbs.

I believe that earns it the Mall-Rated badge

(Like I said, for a little unibody SUV, its not bad. Its got a terrain selector, rear locking diff, I think hill descent control, and 30" firestone destination ATs on it. )

I really can't stand the front end. The rest of the vehicle is nice and all, but the first time I was at the Toledo plant and saw one I thought it was a joke.

Its not bad, but they lost me with the headlights. If they did something different with them it would be an alright looking SUV

I'm in the "the more I see it the less I like it" camp... although I do like the specs on it.

To me it looks like a flatter, more squat new Ford Escape.

I am guessing that what you think are the headlights are not actually the headlights.

Cool that they gave it some capabilities but it's still fucking hideous. If I were given the choice to take that or HoneyBooBoo or whatever her name is for a ride, I don't know which I'd choose.

Edit: Wait, is HoneyBooBoo the mom or the daughter? I meant the mom, not a child. Gross.

The headlight appear to be the HID units under the "slanty" marker lights with the audi style led outlines, I think it will look sexy with the headlights on.

I take back what I said about the hood... It appears thats just the angle of the picture but it does have some contours.

I dunno. The more I read about it the more I like it. 270hp and 4500lbs towing with the 3.2l. Or 31mpg with the 2.4l. I wonder how painful the sticker shock will be though.

If you think that looks like the sexy Evoque, you need an eye exam.

I see some similar styling...but the Evoque is a hell of a lot better looking. Although I'd imagine you may be able to buy 2...or 3 of the Cherokees for the price of an Evoque.

Rip off the fenders/fab up some new ones, install a brush guard, cut the bumper under the headlights to give a better approach angle at the tire.

The aftermarket will fix that look quick enough.

That thing looks like it was a bet amongst the designers to see who could slip he ugliest car through. I think my dog has taken better looking shits in my yard.

And how does that help Chrysler as a company (you know, an entity which is to make money) sell an SUV to compete with the likes of the Ford Escape and other small unibody SUVs?
