Default I pimped my deck out

I finally stained my deck and fence for the deck last weekend.

I did 2. Different color stains. It was not fun.

Then I added some led lights for the stairs. I think they turned out kinda pimp!
This pic reminds me that now I have to make a new walkway . Yeah!

This pic reminds me I need to put the last bit of siding back after the door install. I won't forget , my wife will remind me

I also added some LEDs to the hot tub surround. I don't know why? I just had a lot of LEDs and they are addictive.

I found this little f** KER in the garage as I was reaching for some sandpaper. Yea , I screamed like a little girl.. I did find the carb cleaner and hosed him down nicely . Hence the tranquil state in picture.

There is nothing better than seeing a large spider, just before you belly crawl under a deck for hours . No really it rocks ,you all should try it.

So now I'm enjoying a tall frosty one in front of this. I just thought I would share.

Thanks ! The lights turned out good. I just hope my Chinese power supply doesn't burn the house down.

Looks good!

Somewhere in the future we are thinking of getting a hot tub. At the same time will also be getting a new deck. Do you like it recessed like that? Is it a bitch to work on? Would you rather have had a deck to support the hot tub on top of it?

I built a platform for the hot tub to sit on and it sits above the deck by about 6". Just enough that its easy to get in , and leaves don't get in . The cover is easy to get off by yourself to this way . I couldn't imagine taking. The cover off by myself if it was normal. There is no tripping getting in or out ,and I think it looks better . I made the tub service side to the outside of the deck and made the deck trim panel removable with a couple screws so servicing it is easy.

I like the stain.

The tall privacy fence screams 'I get naked on my deck', and the hot tub explains why.

why am I not surprised that a guy who does high end audio installs on fancy cars was smart enough to think a hot tub install through?

Looks great man, I REALLY want a hot tub.

Digging the LEDs. Good looking, and very functional to help guide drunk guests (or yourself) up and down the stairs.
