I do agree with you, and I later found this house is also only half acre, so your $25 would probably be more correct

my lawn guy charges $30 for my 3/4 acre, and says he does some houses out in Holly, want his number?

Not sure how much business he can handle though, kid just graduated HS and has trade school plans out of state.

I won't take equipment off my trailer for less then $35 unless I already cut the neighbors on both sides.

The ethnic people that do some other houses in the area are actually even cheaper, like $22. I believe they are from a company called Lawn Warden.

That's how it was when I mowed lawns over 10 years ago. Not sure what Hosejockey charges to unload the trailers these days but it has to be somewhere around that mark.

I never checked their green cards, but Kerry was trying to ask how you pay them and the guy thought she was haggling and that's when he lowered his quote from $25 to $22.

Maybe she asked if they take credit card and he thought she was asking for his green card and that's where the price drop came in.

It was advertised as a peice of shit. Honestly I think I deserve a refund simply due to false advertisement. It has been a fine peice of machinery, especially considering the warranty I was offered. You should see my golf course quality lawn she has been manicuring the past few weeks!

That is good to hear, hope they follow through

I am not saying the city should pay for the bill, I am saying that the person who is neglecting their responsibility should pay the bill.
I am in OC so my taxes are high. I will tell you what though, after the neighbor had their lawn cut by the city they never let it get long again so a swat on the nose works for some bad neighbors.

I know my township has a rule that your lawn cannot be higher than 8". But based on the other offenses I see people routinly making, the township won't do anything about it.

He's on this board but I don't know his screen name. He I am sure has some dealing with mschaffer monies built in there too. If you are serious I can text him. I am not sure he services your area though as most of his accounts are in highland/white lake/waterford/commerce/west bloomfield.

I actually got that rate from them because I was trying to figure out how the whole thing worked when we first moved in and they thought I was haggling because they didn't speak English.
The reason that I hired them in a rush was that when we bought the house we didn't have a lawn mower or any real lawn equipment (and were also doing massive interior renovations) and we didn't want our neighbors to have to look at the yard like it was still a foreclosure property.
