Default what is this truck worth?

My father-in-law's truck. Was formerly used as a delivery truck for trusses. Hasn't been on the road in about 5 years now. 360 gas engine. Manual trans. Two wheel drive. Runs and drives good. Brakes were new shortly before it was parked. Interior smells like cigarettes and is dirty in general. You can see the body condition. Tires are good. I forgot to ask him the miles, but I believe its around 100,000. He's debating on whether to try selling it or just hauling it to the junkyard.

I would think it's worth more then scrap, but not much more.

I'd say it's worth a few boxes of car audio and paintball equipment.

Seriously though, it depends on if he wants to deal with craigslist douches.

He does not and will not. Hate to see a good running truck to to scrap but I have a feeling that is what is going to happen.

I dunno what he wants for it, but if I had the space that could make an excellent "home depot/fire wood collecting/junk hauling/project/yardwork" truck

Skooter_Built will buy it, and park it at somebody else's house.

I'm getting rid of, not collecting more.

Though that would look cool slammed to the ground on rusty 19.5 or nasty aluminum 22.5's

Looks like a nice $450 farm truck. Back in the day before I was driving truck I would give him $400 without a second thought. I would make a video showing everything working or not working. Then spend a weekend taking it down to the useable parts.

Just from the pictures I see $300 in rims/tires, $50 in doors, $50 hood, $100 core support,Rad,fan, $200 engine, $150 trns/bell, $100 rear axle, $50 front bumper, $30 fuel tank/sender, $30 rear glass, $40 windshield, $50 seat, 50 entire dash, $50 brake master, $50 suspension, $50 scrap.

A good running engine is only worth $200 these days? I would expect at least double that.

It's because it's a mopar 360. All the power of the 318 and half the gas mileage.

The idea is to sell the parts as fast as possible while making a small profit. It was more of a hobby then anything. Most junk yards will give some type of return deal and have the space to hang onto it for a few years. It is not worth the floor space or haggling to try an sell a part for what is worth unless it is something rare or important to you.

If everything works fine that truck should be worth close to $1000, $1500 with a bed at least. Doubt you would get $2000 for it but maybe on the very top end.

Shoot me a PM when you have a chance.

Thanks,...

On Edit,.I am guessing it is Cheboygan,.. If so, Sorry I wont go that far. but let me know.
