Compared to my lifted locked tj rolling down the highway 20- 30,000 miles a year I would take my chances in bens jeep. He is in sand, with a ambulence waiting less then 400' away if it's needed. He doesnt have a bunch of morons on there phone trying to take him out either.

I grew up in the 70s, didn't wear a helmet on my bigwheel or knee pads to rollerskate. I guess I've raced and done enough shit to feel much more threatened in day to day life on the streets.

When I raced sleds on the ashpalt people thought I was nuts for going 150 on a sled on pavement. I told them it's a lot safer then going from corner to corner as fast as you can with zero visibility in a pack of sleds. No ambulance on the trails.

So if you put things in perspective I think it is just fine.

If anyone of you think that piece of shit jeep is safe you need to have your head examined. I think cerial's cage is safer than this piece of shit. Look at any other race rig running 1000+ hp and you are going to see a lot more cage and a better design.

What is the problem with making the cage better? Adding just one diagnol bar would make it 5 times better. I dont get it. I am glad there is an amberlamps close to where ever this Jeep runs.

Your comparing apples to oranges.

Take my TJ and his rig, roll them both down test hill and see which one will be less damaged...

I will be $1000 that mine will have have less chassis distortion....

But then again, mine was built to take a beating, be trashed and working.. His rig, one had roll and its a new chassis time..

There are some that aren't much more than the OP, and some that have a ton of tubing. I think some folks are getting a bit mad with all the tube at times...

Im guessing your cage is not stock? His jeep is so light I think it would do better then my 4000 lb tj with a stock cage.

I've needed my head examined for less. You think vws are good cars, sooooo

Most 1500hp cars go a lot faster then 85 mph and a lot farther then 300'

Is a 200 hp crotch rocket safer? How about 160 hp snowmobiles that go 130+?

Im glad Im not so scared of a jeep with a lil smallblock in it.
