This jeep would kill me because the driver would cross the center line and run me over...face it, everything about it expect the motor blows

Kinda looks like the blue block engine has a blower on it. So that blows too.

I dont see the problem, looks like the chassis has very good crumple zones and failure points. I here they engineer race chassis' and trophy trucks to have failure points under pressure.

And you get this opinion from watching a video at schuss and him fucking around in the dunes. If you ever watched the hundreds of passes at the drag strip you would see it performs very well and has never crossed the line and killed anyone. He may take you out on purpose cuzz your an ass, but that is different.

I would rather be in that jeep in a rollover at 85 mph in the sand then any stock wrangler on the highway at 80. I bet it is safer for what it is dessigned for then half of the cobbled up pos rock crawlers that flop on a daily basis.

85 mph in 300' roughly. If the class and tech was such a joke people would be dieing every race, right? Why not check it out in person before judging?

No, people would only be dying when they roll and their jeeps crumple, and I don't think that happens at every race.

That said, needs more triangulation

Yes, because stock Wranglers are always on the ragid edge of flipping at highway speeds. Makes total sense. Its like saying I would rather be punched by a midget than Chuck Norris.

If your talking about the silly bone stock TJs and xjs that seem to flop at the mounds all the time.. those are not rock crawlers.

Look at any purpose built crawler or ultra 4 rig on here and see how much more cage and chassis design those guys have put into their rigs... makes this thing look like a cobbled mess.

I would rather be punched by chuck norris, unless the midget looked like chuck noris.

More wranglers flip in any given year then bens jeep ever has. . Im not saying tjs are on edge of flipping, Im sayings bens shit isnt on the edge of flipping unless he is messing around with no wheelie bar, or on ice crystals with a broken rearend.

I agree totally....... Most people, including myself have a jeep that is much more capable then the factory cage is good for. Thats the point I am trying to make.
I hope he doesnt find out but I think the cage is okay for a roll in the sand. If it was going down the pavement or climbing hills I would be more concerned.

It's a cobbled piece of shit to these guys but I bet most of them dont think twice about riding a motorcycle at highway speeds with no cage.

If you guys saw the thing at the track doing what it does you would realize it's pretty free.

Looks like a typical California sand rail chassis to me, I don't know what the big deal with the fabrication is.

There have been accidents and at least one death at sand drags. I am unaware of any deaths at west michigan since they opened in 1983.
I agree it needs more everything but I have seen it in person too many times to not defend it. It works very well for what it is.
