Default 1985 Ford Mustang Built Drag Car - 347 Stroker, C6 Trans: PRICE SLAM: $6,500!

I'm selling my 1985 Mustang hatchback. This is a very well built drag car.

The previous owner states this car ran a best of 10.4 in the quarter mile and dyno'd 640hp on the engine stand. I have not verified these numbers on my own as I have only driven it on the street. It hauls brutal and hooks up very strong.

Engine:
347 stroker.
Completely rebuilt engine with new hardware with everything remachined, magnafluxed and checked.
Forged lower end and pistons.
Patriot Freedom aluminum heads w/ 185cc chambers ($965 new)
Completely rebuilt engine with new hardware.
Electric fan
CSR Electric Waterpump
Quick Fuel Q-750 Carburetor
Edelbrock Victor Jr. Intake Manifold
Coated longtube equal length headers
Full dual exhaust with H-pipe, dumped at axle
Just 2,700 miles on the new engine.

Transmission:
Completely built C6 Automatic
4500 RPM stall torque converter
Reverse Manual Valvebody
Electronic Transbrake (Incredible launches)
B&M Pro Shifter for full manual
External high capacity transmission cooler installed ahead of radiator

Suspension:
Fully tubular front K-member
Tubular front control arms
Aftermarket trailing arms with zerk fittings for proper greasing
New bushings all around
Lakewood shocks and springs in rear
Adjustable coilovers in front
M/T Sportsman skinny tires in front
M/T Sportsman street slicks in rear
Weld wheels

Drivetrain:
Front driveshaft loop
HD steel driveshaft
Fully built 8.8" rear end with Strange Axles
Spooled differential
Reinforced solid Summit differential cover

Chassis and otherwise:
Fiberglass cowl hood
12 gallon fuel cell with foam inserts
Holley high flow fuel pump
High capacity competition screw-on fuel filter
Professionally welded cage with door bars
Four-point harnesses for driver and passenger
Switchpanel to control ignition, starting, electric fan, electric water pump and fuel pump

This is a very fast car. With a shot of nitrous, this could be an extremely fast car.

PRICE BODY SLAM! Was $9,500 --- NOW $6,500 FIRM!
