Default Help me decide what to do to my neighbors yard.

My neighbor moved out, house is for sale. Hasn't mowed the grass in a month. My sub is full of perfect lawns except for this one. I've called him three times and he's said "the lawn service will be out there asap!"

well, how should I handle it? I'm thinking about mowing a pretty design into the yard. Ideas?

edit: the photo doesn't do it justice, it's knee high, especially where my sprinklers hit.

I've heard of some cities that will send crews to take care of yardwork that homeowners neglect and send them the bill. Any chance your area does something like that?

Or, if the area has no ordinances about keeping your yard up, time to practice some crop circles?

If you keep your jeep in your garage, and you mow your yard, pm me for the address.

Why not mow it yourself if it bothers you? Better yet just buy the place.

Mike would call the city in a heartbeat. I think here they get a lawn mowing a hefty fine. A lawn service costs like 25 dollars a week.. tell him to pay someone. or do it himself.

You should respect his property rights to have his lawn look however he pleases.

Although I think if you cut a checkerboard pattern into knee high grass it would look pretty sweet. Skip every other strip, then cross cut it doing the same.
