Cool. Thanks guys. That helps give me a good idea of what I'll be paying roughly. It will just be my wife and I and 4 year old.

Not sure where or what we will be living in. All depends on income and va approval for loan or not and how soon we can make it happen. Probably be renting if we can find something in budget where we want to be

2400 Sqft Quad level.

Gas Furnace and appliances, AC

Winter $60-$80 for Electric $110-$180 for Gas

Summer $20 for Gas $100-$180 for electric

In the summer a lump of the Electric is for the pool pump though as well. That draws a good chunk and is on 12 hours everyday (24 right now)

Insulation makes a huge difference. When we first moved into our house the hearing and cooling bills were high but by putting magnetic vent blocks over the vents in the unused rooms and adding insulation we cut our bills in half.
