Why are all the current pics of Ford motors in pieces? Seems like the GM guys don't need to wrench on theirs to make them go.

Motor looks great.

I'm in process of it, I plan to put into a vehicle build thread, once I make a bit more progress. Engine is still in short block form

Mines a 2007 LS2 (from a trailblazer SS) - 58x reluctor
Now @ 403 cu i (4.005 x 4.0)
Callies (compstar) crank
Callies H-beams
Diamond pistons
Stock 243 heads with 226cc porting from Advanced Induction
Heads have Brian Tooley springs and retainers (steel)
Stock rockers with Comp trunnion bearing upgrades
Lifters and trays are stock GM LS7
Comp cam is ~23x/24x @ 0.625" lift or so
Intake is stock TBSS with 90mm DBW throttle body
Doug Thorley Tri-Y's (1.875" primaries)
LS7 Card style MAF in 4" housing
Reworked stock wiring/injection/ECU
~11.3:1 static compresion

Need to buy injectors for it (~42 lbs) and get it put back together.

Only picture I have is of the heads:

"BEFORE" Pictures of FULLSIZE4LIFE's Motor

Hopefully in less than a month, you will get to see an "AFTER" picture of it all dressed out.

Collin was kind of enough to make a deal with me to put this motor in the Flareside. Unless I die first, it will be running and in this rig. This motor means a lot to me and a lot of other people.
