Sold a toyota vehicle and it was stated it had chromoly shafts. When we got it back to the shop and pulled it apart to put seals in the front the shafts were stock. Pulled the rear apart and found the same thing in the rear. Then he wouldn't make it right.

I understand buyer beware and all that but you can't see the shafts. Short of taking the thing apart in the driveway before you buy it, you have to kind of go on his word and his dad was there and said "I guarantee these are chromoly shafts.". Piece of shit. His word is worth nothing.

I am out of luck, I know that, but maybe I can save someone else from getting burned by this bastard.

He didn't know what? He said they were chromoly. He had to replace the gears in the axle. He had the shafts in his hand. If you don;t know, you don't say they are Yukon chromo shafts.

Agree. If you don't know state that you dont know. If your specific enough to state "Yukon Chromeoly Shafts" either you're doing a bate n switch to build up the price or the person he bought it from lied to him. Either way, he sold it that way, he stated it as such, so he looks like the bad seller.

Considering yukon doesn't make chromo frt shafts for a toy axle that should have been a huge red flag.

Still a bunch of crap on his part.

I see two options on this.

1. Guy who sold truck to muddypaws purchased complete axles with the said shafts in them and passed them on as what he thought he purchased. This would be a mistake on the seller for stating something that he thought was true, but never seeing them.

2. The seller flat out lied and is a complete d-bag.
