Default Gutless 2005 Ford F150 5.4

Hey guys
Last fall I bought a used 05 F150 crew cab with a 5.4. It is gutless. It is so bad that when i try and do a break stand to test for a brake torque test to try and get some codes i can put the accelerator all the way to the floor and it will NOT break the tires lose. Also im only getting 12 mpg

I have done:
a tune up with new plugs and fuel filter
Check the Catalytic converts
Replaced the fuel pressure control module
Cleaned the MAF sensor.

I am not getting any engine codes but plan to take it in again soon to have it rechecked.

Any suggestions? I heard from a friend something about the syncos on the cam shaft but didn't understand.

Thanks

No polite way to say so I will just put it out there. YOU BOUGHT A TURD. 5.4 triton is the most under powered gas sucking turd I have ever seen. I maintain several of them and they are pretty reliable but make no power, and love the gas.
