Default So I kinda screwed up

Worked a ten hour day at work then spent 5 hours screwing around with brakes and brake lines on the girlfriends car.

Got home, the pups out of food so I run to the corner store. Buy food, and on my way out I wasn't paying attention and turned to sharp and clipped the rear quarter and bumper of a girls car.

I parked my car and didn't run like an ass. Went inside. She's pissed, happens to be the cashier that just checked me out...

I give her my insurance info, plate number, and phone number.

I have plpd. The car is from the dealership her dad owns so I'm sure it's insured.

Am I gonna get screwed? 90% will buff out I'm positive, I could take the green paint from my car off her white car with my fingernail.

Yes. Her dad was letting her I guess. I just am wondering if my insurance is going to go up now if they call it in etc...

I've literally never been in any kind of accident that I was driving...

It's all good bud it happens to us all atleast once. Lol. That's why its called an accident. They happen. Unless she works for her dad or is a state lisenced dealer she legally can't drive a vehicle with a dealer plate. Did she call the insurance company? They might not even file a claim against you because she could get in trouble.

However her dad may get into some shit for letting someone other than himself drive a dealer car. Unless her dad is the owner of the dealership then you are screwed. Sorry.

Yes! All dealership owners will say the car got totaled. Their insurance companies will come after you for liabilities due to loss of profit from a damaged car.
I know this because I use to date a chick whos mothers father owned a dealership. He sued everyone!!!!

Oh and Swampjeep doesn't like me because I ate his last cookie. Let it go already Swampjeep!!!

They might get the mini-tort from your insurance if they request it.

Yours could go up if they report it, it just depends on what company you have etc.

They might also get charged 10-20k to you for lost business, on the car and for blocking the parking lot.

My buddies parents own a dealer ship they can't legaly sue you and say its totaled if it isn't. That's insurance fraud. You'll be fine.

Bravo to you for not running off, and instead admiting you hit the car. For that, you need to be commended.

If it is legal for her to drive it, then your insurance should cover it; a parted vehicle is considered property and covered by plpd; had that happen to me years ago. I backed into a buddy's car and insurance had to cover the 3k in damage; they didn't like me of course by my rate didn't go up
