Default New fishing boat .

This is cool !!

2,000 HP Outboard Inflatable ...

Here's the latest drug runner toy from Europe ..

This thing belts across the English channel 3 times per week and was just a blur
on the radar of the British Coast Guard.

They were so astonished by the speed of the unknown craft, they brought in a
special high speed helicopter to chase it. Drugs were found on board. Of course,
you'd have to be on drugs to put the throttle down on this thing!

It seems like it would hit the point of unable to go any faster well before 2000hp though. A 250hp motor only spins a prop so fast. Now if they were pushing or pulling something...

http://www.snopes.com/photos/boats/drugrunner.asp

Rather old by Internet standards, and only partially true.

The boat is slow and inefficient by south Florida drug running standards, they have boats in the triple digits of speed that carry real weight too.

Sure. The motor inly spins so fast, but with that much horsepower you can spin a lot od pitch......but old picture is old.

Wouldn't that require more horsepower per motor?
