Default Spring clamp hits rear frame, SOA stretched.

The clamp on the RE 1.5" SOA springs hit the frame, limiting flex.

I thought about doing the boomerang shackles, but do not want to add lift and cause a pinion angle change. Plus, the jeep sits level now front - rear.

Can I use wrap around style clamps vs the ones that stick up with a bolt going across with the gap?? Will that cause a change in suspension travel?

My rear mounts are welded to the rear bumper.

Or does anyone have plans to build boomerang shackles with zero lift??

Besirk over on Jeepforum sells no lift booms. Made out of 3/8" stock really beefy. $25 for 2 shackles, meaning front or back. I have his 1/2" booms an am very happy with them. Not sure if booms woul do much in the way of fixing your issue though. Maybe use a regular spring clamp instead of the tall ones RE uses, might limit your travel a little.

I just made some 1/2" lift ones from 3/8 plate. Hope they work.
