Default So should a 5.7 injection system look like this?

I think it may have been killed with fire.
Dizzy gear smoked, had a few good back fires while trying to reset the timing after new dizzy install. Now I see moar monies spent in the future.

Yes, many, many of them have work done looked exactly the same inside. Are you changing one of the poppet valves?

I was having a 5/7 cylinder misfire. It was running quite rich, the intake was wet. I'm going to hook the fuel lines up and connect the tps and roll it over to see if there is a leaker. Of course with the dizzy disabled.

You will need to distributor connected, just unhook the high tension lead from the ignition coil and turn it over, but those are poppet valves not like a traditional injector so you may have a difficult time seeing if they're operating properly chances are you have a sticky injector on 5&7 if the problem is an injector at all

do yourself a favor and upgrade to the MFI setup that GP sorensen makes, it runs around $320-350 p/n: 800-1513N

I just wanna see how bad the lines are pissing. I'm guessing that with the burn marks on them they will be squirters all inside the intake before it even hits the end.

3 out of 8 were streamers. New system installed and now runs like a raped ape. :)
