Default small block chevy fuel injection kit

i am wanting to fuel inject my small block chevy. i am looking for feedback on these new self learning efi kits on the market now. Has anybody uses one or know someone who used one? want a system i wont outgrow if i build another motor. these kits say they can handle up to 550 hp. i currenly am in the 400 ish hp area but have plans for a 500ish motor in the future and dont want to be hp limited by the injection, so it sounds like one of these kits would be good for me but havent ever seen one work in person.

the best way to go is going to be a cylinder injected motor. If you are going to build another motor, why not just start with a motor that is fuel injected (not port runner injected or TBI).

For the price of one of those kits, why not move to an ls?

FAST Ez-EFI is the shit. I know many people running it and it is just a badass all in one kit.

I definately recomend it over any other FI kit out there.

The red truck is a buddies with a big power 498 BBC and the fast works great. I have more friends I can get vids from if you really like.

My buddy has electric cutouts, and when he opens them you can hear the motor actually change how it runs to compensate for change in exhaust flow. Way cool.

well i just kind of like the old chevys, i have lots of parts for them and i know them. i already have the next motor sitting here too. all three of my toys have old small blocks in them so its just kind of keep with what i know and already have. no doubt ls is better and makes more power but i couldnt even buy a ls motor and a cam for this money let alone the computer and harness and spend the time tuning it, not to mention change motor mounts headers and all the little bs that goes with a motor swap.

i have the origional multi port EFI from edelbrock, im running about 400HP not the system is good for way more, change injectors fule pump and tune for more and more HP really, mine is not self learning but i am told the newest system is self learing but not 100% on that, i know its pricey around $3000 for the full system, its like $2200 to up grade mine with the newest controller and harness, when i saw the price i stopped looking at it cause it was to much to have pretty much what i already have with the only real diffrence is self learning.

Dont really know much about the megasquirt maybe i will do some researching today. im guessing you have to tune it yourself though. i talked to atlantic speed and they said they sell 3-4 fast kits a day and they have sold close to 3000 kits now. he said he never hears of problems with them and he likes the fast over the msd atomic plus its cheaper.
