40's. thinking about selling my 37s and 40 krawlers for one all around use tire. just not set on what tire yet. was looking at 40 mtrs, the new trail grapplers and maxxis creepy crawlers. i wish the trepador non sticky was the same pattern as the sticky.

I have not wheeled with my 40's yet. I have however rode with/been with people that have them and I am just impressed with how well they work in most types of terrain. I myself was lookng for an all around tire. I looked into Rocker Radials, Toyo mt's and, BFG km2's. 41" Rocker radials were comparable in size and price but I a not real impressed with the looks. The 40" Toyo mt's are a nice tire but fairly heavy and priced about the same. The 40" BFG KM2's are great tires but too expensive.... I know people with creepy crawlers and they work well but, wear fast. I have also heard Creepies aren't too good in the snow because of the soft compound. I have not seen too much on the Trail Grapplers. Everyones preferences are obviously different. I did alot of debating before I bought tires. Based on everything I've seen, the MTR's are the best all around for the price .

KB8YMF tells me his Creepies work great in the snow.

I'm in the same boat as Chevotass, seriously considering selling my stickies & going back to one all around tire. Iroks still are high on my list too.

The guys I know with Creepies didn't say they were horrible in snow just not as good as other tires they have ran. In my search for tires I also wanted a radial tire. I ruled out the Irok radials solely based on the stories I've heard about the sidewall strength. No proof to back it up though.... Well, other than Erin and how many he has gone through .

A friend of mine has 35" trail grapplers on his 09 2500 hd they are wearing much better than the bfg ats he had before them. Not sure how much that helps but it's better than nothing I think.

i was considering a mtr kevlar myself. i have seen them all over and very impressed with them everywhere. joe had them on his jeep at the loonie run 2 years ago and i was impressed with how good they worked.the 40 is a actuall 40 also and they are very light too compared to some of the other tires.

sticky krawlers no go in snow or street. im going to be driving my cruiser in the summer around town. thats why i have 37 old style mtrs. but im thinking of selling both sets and just getting one good overall set again. then if any extra cash i can put it towards other mods and parts i need.

bfg km2s are like $800 a piece. they better give me a blow job every time i go for a ride with that kind of price. stupid ass tire prices .. iroks have doubled in price since i bought my last set. frickin doubled.
