Who made the upper? I'm noticing that it has no shell deflector, dust cover, or forward assist, is that correct?

Are you willing to ship to my FFL?

I can't remember who made it, and there aren't any company names on it. I still have the original piece in my storage unit complete with the carry handle. You could put it back to original if you'd like. I've never done a FFL shipping, but I'm sure we could make it happen.

Ok. Do you know if its a small or large pin lower? Some of the older Colts had a proprietary pin size.

I would bet that is a DPMS upper by the looks of it. Not sure if all sporter style uppers are produced exactly the same but that sure looks like the same thing I had.

I was going to say the same thing. Looks like the budget DPMS upper.

I also noticed your ad on Michigan Gun Owners stating that you still had the original A2 upper in storage. Is there any way you can dig it out and snap some pictures of it?

It should be an A1 upper judging by the rest if the rifle.

I was mistaken. I read it here

Don't know why I said A2.

It's in storage, but I'll get it out. Everybody that is interested in it wants it with the rifle. I know I have it, just a matter of retrieving it.

The value of this particular rifle is drastically diminished without it. That's why everyone is asking.
