I agree about the respect aspect. Where I grew up(in the thumb) everyone pulls over for a funeral procession. Where I live now(Holland) some do and some don't. Personally I do every time, out of respect. I'm not in a big enough hurry that 15 seconds will make me miss anything.

I pull over every time. There has only been one instance that I have begun proceeding without being able to see the end of the procession, that guy had a lot of friends (or a lot of enemies that wanted to make sure he went in the ground).

I've never pulled over for a funeral procession while travelling the opposite direction. I don't pull over for a funeral procession that is travelling in the same direction. I do yield to a funeral procession as the law dictates. I, like Skooter Built, don't really care about the dead person in the back of the hearse, however, I understand funerals are not for the dead but are in fact for the living friends and family of the deceased person. With this in mind, I try to drive and act in a respectful manner.

Pulling over for a funeral procession seems to be a small town/southern thing. I always stop out of respect, whoever has lost a loved one can have that 30 seconds out of my day. It's a simple gesture of kindness.

I was on Greenfield in Southfield today. Five lane road. Funeral procession was underway. I did not stop.

I haven't logged in here in almost a year due to most of my time being busy at work and being about 1500 miles away from most of the people on here.

I just want to add that Skoots, glad to see that you are still a stupid fucking cocksucker.

Where I grew up, I pulled over for every procession that I saw. Everyone did. 9 times out of 10, you know whose procession it was, so you would stop to show respect for people that you knew.

When I lived around the OC, I didn't, as it was already stated, to not cause an accident.

Again, I just want to reiterate that I logged in to tell Andy that he was still an inconsiderate prick.
