Tj v8 swap questions
Im in the middle of a vortec 5.7L/ 4l60e swap into a 2002 jeep tj and was wondering...
if you had the full factory wire harness for the drivetrain,(in this case a 1997 gm vortec 5.7L and 4l60e transmission) would you modify the stock harness to run the motor, or order one of the easy wiring harnesses I.E. Howell, painless wiring, etc.. ? and has anybody on here done their own wiring harness from the stock harness that would be able to help me out in this process??
it looks like i need to run a return fuel line from the engine back to the tank.. the jeep did not utilize a return line. best way to install a return line into the stock jeep tank?? I was also planning on using the stock regulator/ pump assembly.. will this work?

There is a guy on pirate that will modify your stock GM harness and program your the pcm for $400. I forget his name, but a quick search over there will find it.

just go to www.150tunes.com thats his site. sending my pcm to him soon.
Edit: just realized you have a 97 vortec motor, his computer will only do 98 and up stuff. i don't know why, but thats how it is i guess?
