Default Tj v8 swap info help!!

im swapping in a 5.7L vortec/ 4l60 out of a 1997 silverado into my 2002 tj. just wondering if anybody has done this swap and if i could get any help with the wiring of the new motor.. id like to retain the factory wiring harness instead of spending a shitload of money for a new harness.. what wires do i need to keep to make it run, etc?? any help or links would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the wiring harness for your 5.7? Send it out to Jim's performance and he will trim it down to just what you need. You will only have to hook up 5 or 6 wires. Then you can trim out anything from the hold harness you don't need.

If you want to do the harness yourself all of the info is at www.lt1swap.com. All of the pinouts and required wires are posted there.
