Default Does anyone still shoot with film?

Seems you can get a really good camera for pretty cheap now. I was thinking about picking one up to play with.

My wife still shoots with film. She has a Minolta that I bought for her back in the early 90's it was like a $1800 camera. My mother's cousin was a professional photographer and he also worked at Normans' camera shop in Kazoo. My wife was taking photography at the local community college and my mother's cousin suggested the camera as it was what he used. It has a door you open and you can put in different digital cards for certain effects it is a very high end piece and takes great pictures. IIRC it can do frame by frame of vehicles travelling in excess of 300mph. She used to shoot a lot of nitro drag cars and jet cars .
