I'll have to look but when I was working as a tech I got a pic of a 8 inch ford welded shut! I guess you could still call that a welded diff haha!

Gasket was cheaper than the silicone I would've had to buy anyhow.

I think everyone who complains about part store people, should work in a parts store to get a true idea of why they say certain things.
