Default Steering Gear Input Shaft Seal Replacement

02 TJ 4.0L

Alright so I haven't seen many other threads out there concerning this replacement so I thought I'd ask.

Symptoms: Where the Steering Input Shaft goes into the Steering Gear Box there seems to be a slight leak of fluids. I can also grab the input shaft and wiggle it slightly. The causes a "popping" sensation in the steering wheel and even slight play in the steering wheel when driving.

I am curious as to how to replace this, will I need to completely remove the Steering Gear Box and the fluid lines, including the pitman arm? Or is this possible to do without doing all of that?

Anyone have any good write-ups out there?
Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you.
