Gladwin area trails

Anyone familiar with these trails. Heading up Sunday with bikes to run some trails and thinking about riding these. Just curious if anyone had some info on them.

we used to run them all the time and really enjoyed them. the other system that we enjoyed is bull gap trails. those are much nicer trails in my opinion.

Being closer was the reason we thought we would try them. But yes they are very whooped out and very loose sand, almost to the point where it took some of the fun out of riding. I was able to ride with no issues but a buddies wife had a hell of time just staying up let alone carry any speed. We ended up ride some of the mixed traffic/two tracks in the afternoon and still had a fun day.

south end of that loop, right down the road from my house. wish I would have saw this earlier. know where to ride it and where to bypass and the easy fun stuff. next time you come riding, hit me up I'll guide for ya. we can run around 90 miles in about 6 hours. make it fun, not work.

I have heard these aren't very clean. I've never been on them on my bike though, just in the Jeep. So I wouldn't know how the bike trails are. I have heard tho besides the fact that they are very sandy, there are quite a bit of trees and small stumps that you gotta watch out for.

My buddy and I ran the Denton Creek trails in Roscommon Co. yesterday and today. Much less sandy than Gladwin. There are more routes than trails, but some of the routes might as well be trails because they are pretty narrow.

I ran those trails last weekend and they weren't terribly sandy, but they were very wet. The main roads had a lot of standing water. I've ran the trails several times before though and always had a lot of fun, worth running i'd say.
