Default Extreme Mall Crawler- 98 XJ Build

Okay guys here's alittle story for ya. Once upon a time lived a 12 year old who's older brother had bought a 1999 cherokee and built it up. The little 12 year old had no idea that he would be doing the same thing a year later. He would get his dads old 98 xj and build it just like his brothers.....

Well as u guessed I was the 12 year old. Well now I'm 15, still got the xj (pepper), and I though that since I live in michigan I would start a thread on here.

So I've had Pepper for almost two years now. She started out as a bone stock xj with 173,000k on the ticker. As I said I got it from my dad, well before he gave it to me he bought a 3.5 inch rubicon express lift kit for it. Which sat in a dusty corner for a year. Then I installed it last winter, so I'm gunna let the pics do the rest of the talking. So sit back and eat ur popcorn as u watch a wonderful story about a boy and his jeep.....que the lights. :P

So last night in was driving my jeep down my road and I got 2 miles from my house and it hit 260degrees on the gauge. I pulled off at a gas station, and tommorow I'll put the new water pump I got for it, in it, along with a new thermostat.

Don't listen to this guy. You're most likely looking at a burned out turn signal or a wheel bearing IMO.
